Nick Carley is Adnovar's strategy and profit lead. An energetic entrepreneur with 30 years’ experience setting up and running businesses. He's had experience in a number of sectors including consultancy, IT, training, public relations, communications, consultation and research. 

During that time, he's dealt with the same issues facing business owners now. His insights come from starting up in the dining room to scaling up and selling his shares. Those years have taught him to be creative, resilient and optimistic. These are attitudes he can help you to cultivate too. One of his central values is appreciating that you must enjoy today and not think it’s all about tomorrow.

 

It's one of Adnovar's core values, that running a business brings with it the chance to give you, the owner, a sense of fulfilment and satisfaction. Nick in particular has developed strong analytical skills, and has proven himself quick to understand complex situations. This has seen him identify issues with a business' product range or menu of services and offer solutions that give business owners a pathway to achieving their objectives.

 

I’m client-focused with an ability to interpret needs both articulated and un-articulated with great one-to-one interpersonal skills. I’m well versed in the reality of managing cash flow and finances, a good marketeer with an eye for the opportunity and a proven track of delivering healthy profits.
Nick is currently a very active chair of The Minster Centre (a training institute for psychotherapists), working closely with the chief executive to steer the organisation through a challenging period.

 

He is (slightly) addicted to the joys of road cycling, an improving bread maker, a keen cook and love nothing more than putting the world to rights with my wife and friends over a glass of wine.
